CRT Stakeholders and Friends,

The Senate continues to process H.R. 7217 under their hotline process, but no final action yet. This is not unusual, as the length of the hotline process is dependent on the questions and issues that can be raised by any individual Senator and the time it takes to resolve them. Some bills take longer than others.

We've been staying in contact with the key Senate offices and staff and the good news is there have not been any "objections" raised to the CRT provisions. We need to recognize that there are also other important Medicaid provisions in the bill that require consideration by the Senators. At this time, additional grassroots outreach is not needed and we will continue to monitor the progress.

While it's hard to predict Congress, there are positive signs supporting passage of the bill and we expect Senate action on H.R. 7217 by the end of the week (if not sooner).

We'll keep you posted on any developments and thanks for the continued support!

Regards,
