Why should you attend the 2019 Conference? - "It is extremely important to attend and advocate for CRT issues, both locally and in person at the National CRT Conference in Washington, D.C. I have noticed that by meeting with my congressional delegates in D.C. and then later following up with them locally, the meetings are more effective. They are already aware of the issue. It seems that when you demonstrate you're serious enough about the issue to meet them in D.C., rather than just sending an email, your issue is viewed on a higher level at the local office. And if we don't advocate for CRT, who will?" -Mike Barner, ATP, CRTS®, Past NRRTS President, University of Michigan Wheelchair Seating Service

Wednesday May 1 - "Leadership Day"- Attendees will hear presentations on health care policy trends and topics in the CRT industry, particularly funding. They'll also receive step-by-step instructions to maximize the effectiveness of conversations with Congress. To close the day, a "CRT United" reception will be open to all attendees for some networking and fun.

Thursday May 2 - "Advocacy Day"- Individual meetings with Congress will be scheduled for attendees by the conference team. The day will be spent educating Members and staff about CRT and getting their legislative support to fix barriers compromising access. A debriefing reception will follow back at the hotel.
