CRT Stakeholders and Friends,

Yesterday we shared that Representative John Larson (D-CT) sent a request to his House colleagues to sign a letter to new CMS Administrator Brooks-LaSure asking her for action before June 30 to stop Medicare payment cuts to CRT manual wheelchair accessories scheduled for July 1.

Due to today’s federal holiday, the deadline for Representatives to sign on to the letter has been extended until noon on Monday, June 21. Click here to read Rep. Larson's request that can be shared.

Our advocacy site, www.protectmymobility.org, is ready to help all CRT advocates send a pre-written email to their Members about this issue. The email asks Members to urge CMS leadership to take action before June 30 to stop these inappropriate payment cuts and avoid the negative access consequences for people with disabilities who depend on CRT Manual Wheelchairs.

If you haven't already taken action, please take the time to do so today and to share the links with others who will advocate as well.

Regards,

Don
